There is a need to work with scientific approach in regional languages - Dr. Shivnarayan
Patna, 20 Sept., 2020. Angika and Hindi scholar Dr. Shivnarayan, while expressing his views in a discussion on the new education policy, has emphasized that there is a need to work with the scientific point of view for the development of regional languages for the education.
Dr. Shivnarayan asserted that first of all one has to accept that the work of imparting education in mother tongues / regional languages can be done excellently. This is first and foremost aspect of this issue. The second aspect is that there is a need to work from the scientific point of view in all regional languages.
Citing the example, he said that there are more than 50 countries in the world, including Japan, Russia, China, where the work of imparting education is being done through the vocabulary of their own languages. And all these countries are ahead of India in terms of development.
Dr. Shivnarayan says that no attention has been paid to this aspect of regional language development so far. This should have been accomplished long ago.
