CM urged to take steps for protection of Angika
PATNA: Congress legislature party (CLP) leader in the state assembly and party's former state chief Sadanand Singh on Friday urged CM Nitish Kumar to make his personal intervention and take requisite steps for the protection of Angika - the language of the people of ancient Anga Janapada and has evolved over the past several centuries.
In this regard, he sent his emissaries to the official residence of the CM with a request letter. Singh's letter pleaded, "It is my personal request that please consider the demands made for the protection of Angika language. It would help in strengthening the culture and tradition of the people of Anga Janapada.
