पुणे स्थित गायिका मंजुश्री ओक 122 भारतीय भाषा मँ 13 घंटे तलक बिना रुकलौ प्रदर्शन करी क गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड मँ जग्घौ बनाबै के कोशिश करतै ।

‘श्री यशालक्ष्मी कला’ द्वारा आयोजित आरू TRTI पुणे, सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विश्वविद्यालय, ललित कला केंद्र, पुणे, कला विरासत आरू जनगणना कार्यालय, मुंबई द्वारा समर्थित ई कार्यक्रम आय 10 अक्टूबर क कोठरूड स्थित यशवंतराव चव्हाण नाट्यगृह मँ सुबह 10.30 बजे सँ रात 11.30 बजे तलक होतै ।

ओक नँ 2017 आरू 2018 मँ लगातार 12 घंटा लेली गायन करी क एगो रिकॉर्ड बनैलै छेलै, आरू इंडिया बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड्स आरू एशिया बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड्स मँ आपनौ नाँव दर्ज करैनै छेलै । ई बार, हुनी 122 भारतीय भाषा सिनी मँ लोक, भक्ति, भाव गीति, लावनी आरू ग़ज़ल जैसनौ श्रेणी मँ गानबै के लक्ष्य रखलै छै।

The announcement about the show, ‘Amrutvaani’, was made by veteran music composer Pt Hridaynath Mangeshkar, who is also Manjushree’s guru, at a press conference in Savitribai Phule Pune University on Wednesday.

Organised by ‘Shri Yashlaxmi Art’ and supported by TRTI Pune, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune, Heritage – The Art Legacy and the Census Office, Mumbai, the musical performance is to be held on October 10 at Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha in Kothrud from 10.30 am to 11.30 pm.

Oak, who holds a record for singing for 12 hours at a stretch in 2017 and 2018, had set records in the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records. This time, she aims to perform songs in categories such as folk, devotional, bhaav geet, lavni and ghazals in 122 languages including scheduled and non-scheduled languages, sub-languages as well as spoken and tribal languages.

Pune-based singer Manjushree Oak aims entry in Guinness Book of World Records, will sing for 13 hours in 122 languages

A Pune-based singer is all set to make an attempt at enlisting her name in the Guinness Book of World Records. According to The Indian Express report, Manjushree Oak will perform nonstop for 13 hours in as many as 122 Indian languages on 10 October.
Oak already holds records for singing for 12 hours at a stretch in 2017 and 2018, in the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records.

This year, the singer will perform songs from a diverse range of categories, such as folk, devotional, bhaav geet, lavni, and ghazals. Her songs will be in 122 different languages, which include sub-languages, spoken languages, and tribal languages. Some other languages she will perform in are Marathi, Urdu, the Varhadi dialect, Angika, Tangsa, Ladakhi, Punjabi, Nicobarese, Tamil, Pali, and Sanskrit, the report states. The songs will entail social messages on planting more trees and girl child education.

Oak will perform in the show, Amrutvaani, at Kothrud’s Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha from 10.30 am to 11.30 pm. The announcement was made by veteran music composer Pt Hridaynath Mangeshkar, who is also Oak’s guru.

“2019 has been declared as the international year of indigenous languages… So, to celebrate our country’s rich linguistic diversity, I will attempt to sing songs in 122 Indian languages in a single performance to create a new world record,” Oak was quoted as saying by the publication.
The report adds several noted musicians, and experts in music and linguistics are likely to attend the show to assess the singer’s performance.

In response to her choice of attempting this feat, Oak stated that it was her way to celebrate India’s diversity.

Some of the languages Oak will perform in are; Marathi, Urdu, the Varhadi dialect, Angika, Tangsa, Ladakhi, Punjabi, Nicobarese, Tamil, Pali and Sanskrit.

The performance will be attended by several renowned musicians and singers to evaluate her skills.
