Urge to include Angika in the eighth schedule

Jamshedpur: Amra Bangali, a socio-political organisation, welcomed the inclusion of Santhali and Maithili in the eighth schedule of the Constitution. Secretary of Amra Bangali Ashish N. Choudhury said the step will promote Maithili and Santhali languages. He said the government should also include Bhojpuri, Angika, Nagpuri and Magahi in the eighth schedule.
